One of the new functions we have incorporated is a coulomb controller. This makes it possible to vary the length of the treatment steps by entering a certain charge, resulting in considerable improvements in the effectiveness of the treatment since it enables the current to be applied to the area of each tumor with even greater precision.

For large tumors in particular, the value of this feature is not to be underestimated. In addition, it is now also possible to make permanent changes to the individual treatment steps while treatment is in progress. This makes it possible, for example, to make permanent changes to both the step which has just been completed and all other steps.

If changes are made to the current step, all the other steps can also be changed on a percentage basis. For example, if the voltage and current were to be increased by 10% in the current step, the current and voltage can also be increased by ten percent in all the other steps at the same time. Treatment therefore now only has to be interrupted if the physician wishes to change the sequence of steps or make selective changes to individual steps.

But this has also been made much easier as well. Now it is no longer necessary to finish the treatment in progress and only then reconfigure it to the new requirements; instead, all that is required is to interrupt the course of treatment by actuating the Pause button. Once the treatment has been adjusted as required, it can then be simply resumed.
